Introducing Crystal Apple Creative

Admittedly, I’ve been in the digital marketing game for quite some time, around 8 years to be exact. 

My first introduction to the world of internet marketing was through Search Engine Optimization by way of affiliate marketing. I fell in love with the internet and never looked back.


There are so many reasons why I wanted to start a business.

First, the gender pay rate gap disgusts me and don’t get me started on how racial bias can also have a huge impact on your career and the money you make.

Second, I crave freedom. Right now in my current position, I don’t have the flexibility and freedom that I want.

Last but not least, I just don’t think I’m cut out for all the bureaucratic bull that comes along with corporate America. I just don’t love it and life is too short to continue to do the things you don’t love.

Instead of getting mad about it, I’ve decided to start my own thing.  You can’t put a ceiling on something you create. 

My first “real” job has been in working in content management for a large pharmaceutical company.  I then transitioned to working on their global social media team and that is where my love affair with social media marketing began.  I saw first hand the power and value that social media can bring to a business.

Then my 30’s hit and I started wondering if this is it?  Is this what my life is meant to be?  I knew that I wanted to start a business but I didn’t know in what?

It hit me, like a ton of bricks – “girl just use your skills”. And so, here we are today, me starting my very own little digital marketing company.


So you’re probably thinking, “okay, that’s a cute story but what is it exactly that you do?”

Glad you asked!

At the surface level of things, you can call me a digital marketer focusing on creating local social media strategies for small to mid-sized businesses and entrepreneurs.  

I love the idea of connection through storytelling.  I work hard to understand your business goals and objectives to craft social media strategies for your business that both connects and converts.

Quite simply put, I create unique, compelling, and creative digital experiences for social media that your target market will love.

But I do more than that.

I create and connect your local social media marketing and advertising to your email and search strategies to ensure that those potential customers stick around. There’s no point in creating an engaged community of raving fans if you can’t reach out and sell to them any time you want.

I make sure that once those followers are earned, they stay connected to you so that you can continue to nurture your relationship with them and eventually sell to them again and again.

Customers are the livelihood of your business. Without them, you wouldn’t exist.  When you only work on growing your community or using advertising techniques to gain sales without having a strategy in place to capture those customers so that you can retarget them later, you leave yourself and your business open to the volatility of the platform’s algorithms and you leave money on the table.
